What makes Trinity Physical Therapy different?2017-09-29T11:10:33-05:00
  • The owners of Trinity Physical Therapy are a physical therapist and an exercise physiologist. The Physical Therapist will coordinate your treatment plan, manage your care from the beginning to the end of your plan of care. Decisions about providing the “best” care do not come from a corporate office, so we are able to give our patients the attention they deserve and determine the best plan of care for each patient based on each patient’s needs.
  • We are thankful our patients have chosen Trinity and love our profession! Our patients’ success is our success! The way that we stay in business is by earning it the old fashioned way. Our patients thank us daily by telling their friends, family, and their Physicians about the positive experience they had while undergoing Physical Therapy at our clinic.
  • We emphasize a “hands on” approach to physical therapy, reinforcing the connection we try to establish with our patients.
  • We stress compliance with home exercise programs and teach our patients how to track their exercise activity outside of their therapy appointments so that they can continue making progress even after their therapy has ended. We offer an Alumni Program consisting of one on one personal training programs for our patients who have reached their therapy goals but still need supervision and instruction with their exercise program. (If a personal trainer isn’t right for you, we still want to stay involved and see that you maintain what you worked so hard for). By staying closely connected after formal treatment has ended, we can help insure that patients have all the tools, information, and personal attention they need to maintain their goals.
  • We keep Physicians involved and informed with timely notes and personal correspondence.
  • Finally, our staff cares for our patients as if they were our very own family. We will encourage them, educate them, and provide an enthusiastic atmosphere that facilitates success!
Do I need a referral?2017-09-29T11:11:56-05:00

Yes and no. In the state of Alabama, a patient can self-refer to physical therapy without a physician’s referral, however a referral from a doctor is required for your insurance to cover the costs of treatment. Our staff will be happy to help you obtain a referral. Remember that you, the patient, can decide which facility you would like to use and who you want to to be your Physical Therapist, similar to choosing a dentist or choosing a pharmacy to fill a prescription for medicine. It’s that simple!

If you don’t have a primary care doctor or think you may need to see a specialist we can help you with that, too.

We work closely with several doctors in this area and can easily refer you to a doctor and/or specialist and arrange an office visit if needed.

Will my insurance pay for Physical Therapy?2017-09-29T11:17:44-05:00

Yes. We are a Preferred In-Netowrk Provider for Blue Cross & Blue Shield, a Participating Provider with Medicare, in-network with Tricare, Tricare Prime, United Healthcare, Humana, Aetna, many worker’s compensation plans, and will file claims directly to your auto insurance if applicable. Please call our office and we can review your insurance coverage with you.  Your insurance coverage, limits, and patient financial responsibility are explained prior to beginning treatment.

I recommend this place to anyone who needs PT. The staff is great! Very professional yet personable. Awesome environment and great vibes! You feel welcomed the moment you walk in! I almost hate I’m getting better so fast!
